A VERY enjoyable and comfortable restaurant with excellent food, great service, fair prices, and a beautiful location. I don’t know what more you could reasonably ask for. I would absolutely recommend the Cafe Santé to the locals, tourists, and anyone else wandering by. A great experience, and a wonderful way to start your day! Breakfast or brunch at the Cafe and a nice walk afterwards. I want to go back and do dinner as well and end the day with another scenic walk.
The wait staff were amazing. John took care of us, and even though he was busy he made us feel as if we were his only customers. We had the Pate and it was amazing. I had the Sausage platter with Poached eggs, delicious! My daughter had the Eggs Benedict. That Hollandaise was fresh and tasty. My second visit, my first brunch order. The entire staff were so helpful! Great job all!
Had the Quiche Lorraine and the Sausage Plate, both were delicious. The Quiche Lorraine's eggs were creamy and the crust was light and flaky. The two types of sausage on the Sausage Plate were flavorful, the eggs were requested over easy and were perfect, the potatoes were soft inside and a nice light crunch on the outside, and the bread was also soft on the inside and a nice crunch on the outside. The staff were very knowledgeable and polite. The atmosphere is great - French feel and beautiful views of the lake. I hope to get back for dinner before we head home.
Michael, Amber and all the folks at “Santé” were so kind and considerate. Yes, the food is made from scratch, and seasoned perfectly. Yes, the location at sunset park is perfect. Yes, there is free parking. Yes, that have a conscientious staff and a beautiful candle-lit, dining room and full bar. If only they had wood fired pizza , fresh seafood, , divine desserts and supported local farms and charities- oh wait. They do. We’re here for 5 days and we’ve eaten here twice already. As Michael would say; “You’re Welcome…”
Fabulous dinner! Do not miss the duck French onion soup- the flavor is so rich. Escargot is not on many menus and when it is they usually just ok. This was perfect - garlic lemon ratio was amazing and not too oily - perfecto! Do not miss out on any of the desserts! Can't wait to come back!! We are going back for breakfast in the morning! Don't miss this place
Had a wonderful meal this afternoon in the outdoor seating area. Our server Zoe was wonderful and very inviting! I would hire her at my own restaurant if I had one. We ordered the zucchini involtini (lunch) and the sausage plate (breakfast) they were both packed with flavor. Definitely returning if we come back to the area again!
The most wonderful interior and ambiance, so beautiful and classy. Would be a great spot for a date night. It is fancy but well priced, has a beautiful water view, delicious food, and even live music. My Vienna pancakes were wonderful. Our waiter Zoe was very nice and did a great job. 10/10 place, definitely check out.
The Hanger Steak was one of the most impressive steaks I've ever had in a restaurant...hands down. The quality of the coffee and strawberry jam make any breakfast top notch. I'm proud to have such quality available in my home town.
